I found out from a friend that the infamous Janelle Monae will be here on Monday, March 15th. She will be performing at the Black Cat on 14th street at 8pm. I shall be getting my ticket Thursday night.
If you have never heard of Janelle Monae, I strongly suggest you google her and listen to some of her greatness.
Love her quirky style! Just recently listened to her music, and I appreciate it's separation from the norm...added her to the playlist the other day :)
