There, local artist J. Penry will sketch portraits and play records for the opening of his exhibit of bird drawings. This boutique collaborated with footwear brand Osborn to allow each of the designers it represents—Soulland, H Fredriksson, Mary Meyer, Study NY and Chromat—to create a limited-edition shoe especially for FNO. If you’ve ever been curious about what goes on behind the scenes at a clothing label, you’ll love checking out “From Start to Finish: The Analogue Process of Fashion.” Local designers— Rebecca Turbow, Samantha Pleet and Janet Kim of Graey and Hayden-Harnett—were provided with various Lomography cameras and films to document their design process.
